Invasion Games
Autumn 1
Year Six have invented their own version of an Invasion Game. Here they are playing them.
Dance
Autumn 2
Year 3 have been freestyling in their dance lessons. They have practised some poses and then linked them together.
Year 4 have been disco dancing during their PE lessons. Check out the moves.

Paired balance, counter balance, counter tension, using apparatus and creating a sequence were all part of our Body Management unit.

Body Management (Spring 1) We are learning to balance which requires us to be still, rigid, controlled and use tension. We can balance using our small body parts or large body parts. We can also use a partner to create a balance that uses counter balance or counter tension. We have also used some different apparatus to balance on or up against.
Here are a few pictures from our unit on Net and Wall Games. We learnt how to use a variety of shots and coordinate throwing and hitting a ball.
2021/22
This half term we have been working on the Body management unit of PE. We have learnt how to balance on our own and using a partner. We have also thought about different ways of travelling. We did this on the floor, using a bench and also using our large bars in the hall.
Here are a few photograhs of the children during their Net/Wall unit of PE. They learnt how to use forehand, backhand, volley, serve and return a moving ball in a rally.
