2022/23

On Tuesday 27th September, our Year 6 boy's football team took park in a cluster tournamant at Wolfreton School. They played 6 matches in total and came in 4th place. The boys did really well and showed a good team spirit. Next, will be the league matches so fingers crossed for some good results. Well done boys!

On Thursday 6th October, our girl's football team took part in a tournament against other local schools. They played really well as a team and kept their spirits up throughout. Well done girls!

Well done to our cross country teams for taking part and all finishing in our cluster tournament this year. They were all amazing and showed a brilliant team spirit and lots of determination.

We were so proud when Aaliyah came in second place in the Year 3/4 girl's race and Oli came in third place in the Year 5/6 boy's race.

They now go on to run in the final to be held at Cottingham High School next week.

This year we entered some of our KS2 children into the Primary Panathlon. This took place at Haltemprice Sports Centre. The children competed against some other primary schools and they did so well that they achived 3rd place.

Sportshall Athletics. Some of our year 3 and 4 children were taken to Wolfreton High School to participate in Sportshall Athletics. The children had a great morning competing in a range of activities like relay, speed bounce, high jump, long jump and javelin.

The football season is now in full swing with the boy's and girl's teams playing in both the league and cup. Good luck to all!

This year we entered two teams into the Dodgeball cluster competition at Wolfreton. Well done to all the children that took part.

In March, 6 of our children represented Springhead in a Bowling competition at Hollywood Bowl. A massive 23 schools were entered and all did an amazing job showing great spirit and determination, as well as having a great time.

Last week, Springhead Rounders Team played against local schools in a cluster tournament. They won 2 out of 3 of their games and came a very impresive second place.
