National Bonkers Monsters Writing Competition

We are thrilled that all of our pupils that entered the National Bonkers writing competition have had their work selected for publication.

Well done to Ivy F, Pearl D, Jasmine C, Sienna R, Holly C, Isabelle S, Aaliyah G, Marnie K, Charlotte H, Lily N, Fran M, Jacob J, Isabella H and Lydia B. They all receive a bookmark and certificate and then the school receives two free copies of the published book with their work in at the end of June.

Springhead's Spelling Bee

Our Spelling Bee competition is returning this year. In your home school spelling records, you will find your Spelling Bee words. There are also Spelling Bee preparation pages for you to practise the spelling of the words over the term. 

Round One - You will try to spell as many of your 'Spelling Bee' words correctly you can. Everyone will be awarded for taking part and all of their hard work.

Round Two - Knockout Round

Children who move to the second round will take part in a knock-out competition. We will have a winner from each class in this round. There will also be a prize for the 'most improved' from the autumn term competition for each class.

There will be a Spelling Bee Champion for Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.
