Year Three - Relationships (Friendship)
Our year three children have been discussing friendships as a type of relationship. They have discussed their own friendships, what makes a healthy/unhealthy friendship and how to resolve conflict. They read the book, 'Beyond the Fence' where they meet two characters, Thomas and Piggy. The children wrote letters of advice to Piggy to help him resolve his friendship problems with Thomas. It was a shock to them when Piggy actually wrote back to them all.
