Art - Water, water everywhere. Year 5 have been learning to use watercolours. They used tonal effects, colour mixing and different sized brushes to capture different moods of the sea. They learnt to use flat and graded washes as a background then painted in layers.

We investigated how yeast worked by putting warm water, yeast and sugar in a bottle. The gas that was produced blew up the balloon.

Once the dough had been shaped and left to prove, it was baked. Then we could eat the delicious warm rolls.
